My go to happy hack when I’m having an off day or can’t get myself motivated is music. Not just plain music, but music that feeds your soul, allows you to get up, sing and dance with no fear of judgement!

I think that is why music is so powerful. We can listen to a certain song and just escape into our own little world.

So if you are looking for a small hack to create more happiness in your daily routine, play music that is equal to how you want to feel.

For example:

While writing this blog post my music is on low, but it’s just enough of a chill vibe to keep me focused and engaged with my writing.

If you need to clean your bedroom, put on music that has you singing along so you can distract yourself. Before you know it the time will pass by quickly and you had so much fun singing that it made cleaning feel like a breeze.

Now I don’t know about you, but I love finding new music! I definitely have my favorites, but it’s fun to get adventurous and find an artist or album I have never heard before.

Create different playlists for how you want to feel. Find your anthem for the month, better yet, find it for the week or even the day!

How do you want to feel when you wake up? How do you want to feel when you go to bed? Music has the power to do that, it’s just that simple.

The music I listen to is constantly evolving depending on how I’m feeling. Sometimes I find a new artist I like and just can’t stop listening to them on repeat!

Yep you heard it, I love a good random dance party because I know it will always make me happier than I was before. I like to call it an instant happiness hack.
